Escola Sant Gregori Playground

A rooftop playground I'm designing for Escola Sant Gregori in Barcelona. :)

The pergola play unit moves so that the kids can play with colors, light, and shadow while creating patterns on the ground.

The shadows create labyrinth patterns like this.

This unit allows for kids to insert foam noodles, PVC pipes, and carton tubes into small holes in the ground to contruct their own world.

Barcelona

Living in Spain now, and I have a home in Barcelona. I moved in last week and finally feel like I live here. I love it here. the markets. the streets. the noise. the buggies that people use to pick up groceries. the sun. It's nice.

And I'm happy.
